What to Expect During Your First
In Person Therapy Session
In Person Therapy Session
In order to provide the best care possible, we require that parents attend the first appointment. This applies to all clients under the age of 18.
What Can I Expect When I Arrive for my Therapy Appointment?
One of the first things that you will notice when you arrive is how at home you feel in our offices. With Carolina Counseling Services, we make sure that there are no prominent signs that say anything to indicate your reason for entering. Your privacy and comfort is of the utmost importance to us.
What are the Offices Like?
Our offices are very clean and comfortable. You will find that your therapist’s office is warm and welcoming. We strive to provide more of a “living room feel” than a sterile, clinical office. The music is calming and tranquil, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. With your privacy in mind we have sound machines that cover noise coming out of any office.
How can I Complete Paperwork for my Appointment?
Completing the necessary paperwork for your appointment is quick and easy. All paperwork is completed electronically through a secure, easy to use online portal. It can even be completed from your phone!
Paperwork will be sent to you by our wonderful Scheduling Team and can also be accessed under the Current Client Forms tab on our website, carolinacounselingservices.com.
Meeting Your Therapist

All the contracted therapists with Carolina Counseling Services – Fayetteville, NC are very professional and friendly and will help you to feel at ease right away. Why CCS?
Therapy works best when you are with a therapist who is a good fit for you. No two people are the same. You will not have to stay with a therapist who is not the right fit for you. If after the session, you and/or the therapist don’t think that you might be a good fit for each other, he/she may suggest another licensed counselor at CCS who might be a better fit based on the evaluation. Another possibility is for him/her to make a referral to some other suitable place that would better address your needs.
At Carolina Counseling Services, we are always looking to make sure that we are the right fit for whatever you need. It is important to us that you get what you come here for. Moreover, at Carolina Counseling Services – Fayetteville, NC, all contracted therapists are client focused because your wellness is our top priority.
