Medication Management is a collaborative process where a healthcare provider works with you to ensure your medications are safe, effective, and tailored to your unique needs. Our experienced provider conducts thorough evaluations, prescribes appropriate medications, and closely monitors your progress to ensure optimal results.
Not necessarily! Our goal is to provide personalized care that fits your unique needs. Medication can be a helpful tool in managing mental health conditions, but it’s not always a lifelong commitment.
Individualized Treatment Plans: Every person’s journey is different. Some may need medication short-term, while others may benefit from longer-term support.
Regular Check-Ins: Your provider will monitor your progress and adjust your treatment plan as needed.
Focus on Your Goals: Whether it’s reducing symptoms, improving daily functioning, or achieving long-term stability, we’re here to help you every step of the way.
Absolutely! In fact, therapy and medication management often work best together. We believe in a holistic approach to mental health care, where therapy and medication complement each other to support your well-being.
Therapy helps you process thoughts and emotions, while medication can address chemical imbalances to support your mental health journey.
You can continue seeing your current therapist while also meeting with our medication management provider. Together, therapy and medication management create a strong foundation for lasting change and emotional well-being.
Your safety is our top priority. During your initial medication management appointment, your provider will review all the medications, supplements, and over-the-counter products you’re currently taking.
No, you won’t lose your job just for taking medication! Your health including your mental health is protected by laws like the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This means employers can not discriminate against you for seeking treatment or taking prescribed medications.
We tailor appointment schedules to your unique needs. Your initial visit will be a comprehensive assessment to understand your medical history, current concerns, and goals.
For follow-up appointments typically, you’ll have check-ins once a month at first, but as your treatment stabilizes, visits may become less frequent (e.g., every 2-3 months).
The best part? All your appointments can be virtual! You can meet with your provider online from the comfort of your home, office, or wherever feels most convenient for you. We’re committed to making your care accessible, flexible, and effective.
Therapy is an incredible tool for growth, healing, and emotional support, but sometimes, additional help is needed to address symptoms that therapy alone can’t fully manage.
Here are a few signs medication management might be a helpful addition to therapy:
Your Symptoms Persist: Despite regular therapy, you’re still struggling with mood swings, anxiety, or low energy.
Daily Life Feels Overwhelming: Tasks like getting out of bed, going to work, or managing relationships feel nearly impossible.
Physical Symptoms Appear: You’re experiencing changes in sleep, appetite, or physical health linked to mental health concerns.
You Feel Stuck: You’ve made progress in therapy but hit a plateau you can’t seem to move past.
The timeline for feeling the effects of mental health medication can vary depending on the type of medication, your unique body chemistry, and the symptoms being treated.
If you experience any unexpected or unusual symptoms after starting a medication, it’s important to take action right away. Here’s what you should do:

CCS believe that you have a right to participate your mental health treatment plan. You do NOT have to schedule with a therapist before being able to schedule with a prescriber. You do NOT have to see a prescriber before seeing a therapist. You can schedule with a therapist, prescriber or both! There is no one size fits all approach to care here!
