Jonathan Conover, LCSW

Hello!
My passion is helping clients build lives that feel fulfilling, authentic, and aligned with their values. Healing, growth, and self-acceptance look different for everyone, and I provide a supportive space where we can explore what that means for you.
Our work together starts with building a strong therapeutic relationship. From there, we’ll identify patterns, behaviors, and past experiences that may be impacting your life. I offer unconditional positive regard—meeting you exactly where you are, whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, irritability, impulsivity, self-esteem, or other challenges.
I’m a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a U.S. Army Combat Veteran, with four overseas deployments. My background informs my trauma work, particularly when supporting clients with complex trauma, moral injury, identity exploration, or those navigating military or high-stress environments. I provide therapy that is anti-oppressive, sex-positive, kink-aware, and LGBTQ+ and gender-affirming. I understand the importance of creating a space where individuals of all identities and experiences feel truly seen and supported. My approach is progressive, feminist, and trauma informed, helping clients unlearn harmful societal messaging and build a life that reflects their true selves.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I tailor my approach to meet your needs, drawing from modalities such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy. However, the most essential tool in our work is the therapeutic relationship itself—finding the right fit and building trust.
Starting therapy can be both terrifying and a relief, and that’s okay. Your feelings are valid, and so are you. If you’re ready to take the next step, reach out—I’d love to help.
