What Should I Expect During my First Appointment?
At your first counseling session you can expect to be greeted warmly by your therapist and begin the process of treatment by sharing your concerns and symptoms.
The therapist will have many questions to help them understand how best to help. You will begin to formulate a treatment plan that is right for you so that you can begin to resolve those things that keep you from functioning well.
What Insurance Plans are Accepted?
Most insurances cover counseling! Our fully licensed, independently contracted therapists are in network with Tricare, Medicare, Blue Cross NC, Medicaid Healthy Blue, Medicaid WellCare, UHC Medicaid (Optum)* and Alliance.
Your insurance plan determines your extent of coverage. Further questions and concerns you may have can be answered by a call to our offices. We are happy to help.
Do I Need a Referral from my Doctor for a Counseling Appointment?
You do not need a doctor’s referral for you to see a counselor or therapist for most insurances. It is only a matter of calling and making your first appointment. Any questions or concerns you may have can be answered by calling our offices. We look forward to your call.
Are the Sessions Confidential?
