Ann McLemore, LCSW
I see each of my clients as being perfect, whole, and complete. There isn’t anything “wrong” with you, but there are barriers and stressors that stop you from being able to access the best version of yourself. I provide a compassionate, supportive environment so that my clients are able to be open, feel understood, and find healing. I can help you bring the joy back into your life so that you can feel fulfilled.
For children, I believe that play is the best way to allow them to communicate. Developmentally, they can’t easily use verbal communication the way we do as adults. As a Registered Play Therapist, I have experience and training in how to support you and your child work through current struggles in a way that supports your child’s needs.
As a parent, you may feel like you’re failing or that there’s something “wrong” with your child because of their behavior. Each child is unique and needs a different set of parenting strategies, there is no “one size fits all” for children. I can help parents better understand their child’s individual needs so they can improve their relationship and feel more confident with their parenting role.
If any of this resonates with you, then call and schedule an initial session with me. I have been practicing since 2010. I graduated from Florida State University with my MSW in 2010. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Carolina (license number C012337), Georgia (license number CSW008116 and Florida (license number SW11668).
